I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cumandra’s for a number of years and he is an amazing dentist. He’s very knowledgeable and always strives to improve his patients’ dental health. The staff is also amazing! I definitely recommend making an appointment with him. 

I have very sensitive teeth and gums. Visits with Dr. C are pain-free. He knows how to treat my particular needs. Office staff is very accommodating with making appointments and are friendly and caring.

Dr. Cumandra is a people person and a great dentist who does terrific dental work. As a person he is a very pleasant individual.

I just wanted to tell you that the treatments I have received at Scarborough Town Dental are the best treatments anywhere. I will always recommend Dr. Cumandra to our friends and family, as my family and I could not have received better care anywhere else.

I visited the dentist today March 9, 2016 and had an amazing time with my dental hygienist Amy. She is always caring, giving and has a big smile whenever she greets you. She is fantastic!

For someone who is not at ease visiting a dentist, this is the best place I’ve ever been too! Dr. Cumandra is excellent and very personable. I am a patient of Dr. Cumandra for many years, I keep going back to him because I hear horror stories of others and their experiences with their dentist, I had a root canal and I didn’t feel anything he is so thorough and explains everything. I had an appointment for a cleaning with Sara and had cavities filled with Dr.Isabel and assistant Judy. I’ve had cleanings with Sara before and she has always been wonderful and I look forward to seeing her again.

Dr. Isabel and Judy were also fantastic. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with them. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I was so relaxed I actually fell asleep with mouthful of dentistry tools. (I had nothing more than local anesthetics.)

I drive all the way from Waterloo for my dental care for the last 9 years because it’s worth the drive.

My initial visit to Dr. Cumandra took place in 1987. There are many reasons that I continue to visit his practice to this day. Patients are greeted in a friendly, professional, and caring way as they enter the reception area for each visit. The well being of each patient is the top priority. During my many visits, I have found that questions are welcomed and answered in a clear, thoughtful, and honest manner. Staff take the time to explain the various procedures and try their best to make it as painless as possible.

Dr. Cumandra’s technique of freezing part of one’s mouth when necessary, is unique and causes no pain. A follow up call from one of his staff is made the next day when an unusual or more challenging dental procedure has taken place. Should questions or concerns arise after any treatment, you are encouraged to get in touch with the office as soon as possible. You concern will be looked after quickly. I have also benefited from and appreciated the professional service of the two other dentists in his office during Dr. Cumandra’s vacation or professional development time.

His involvement and interest in attending professional conferences and workshops is also reflected in many of his new approaches, techniques and the development of modern innovations over time. I really appreciate his gentle manner, being treated by the excellent up to date dental equipment and the care he demonstrates throughout my visits.

I would be remiss if I did not mention and applaud Dr. Cumandra’s wonderful support staff. From the upbeat and positive receptionists (Lisa and Tasheen), or the kind, encouraging and skilled dental hygienist (Amy), to his hard working personal assistant (Shana); all are professionals of the highest calibre. Their sense of humour, kindness and caring ways have brightened many a visit.

I was referred to Dr. K. Cumandra of the Scarborough Town Dental Health Centre approximately twenty years ago. The services provided are comprehensive: preventive care; crowns; bridges; root canal therapy and implants, all of which ensure continuity of care. The decor of the Centre is aesthetic, but what has been important to me has been the congenial and knowledgeable professional staff. It is my pleasure to recommend this Dental Centre.
